What Are the Akashic Records and What Can They Tell You?
If you read my last post about soul contracts, you know I believe we each came into this lifetime with a mission. A set of wounds to work through, lessons to fulfill, a path our soul agreed to before we arrived.
But how do I actually access that information for someone?
That is where the Akashic records come in.
What the Akashic Records Actually Are
The Akashic records exist in the angelic realm. Think of them as an energetic library - a place where every soul has its own room, and inside that room are books. Each book represents a past life.
When I go into someone's Akashic records, I am entering that room. I am reading those books. And what gets shown to me is never random - every past life that surfaces during a reading is a puzzle piece. It is specifically what that person needs to know right now to help them progress on their path.
That is what I find so incredible about this work. The records are not just a history of who you have been. They are an active, living source of information about who you are becoming and what you are here to do.
What Comes Through in a Reading
Every reading is different because every soul is different.
Sometimes what comes through is a past life scene - a moment, a place, a body, a circumstance. I might see you in a different country, a different century, a different role entirely. And what gets shown is always connected to something you are carrying right now in this lifetime.
Sometimes it is an unexplained fear. A physical pain with no clear origin. A pattern that has followed you your whole life and never made sense until you see the lifetime where it began.
I have a client who gave me permission to share her story. When I went into her records I saw her on the ground, thrown from a horse, unable to move. When I described it to her she went quiet. She told me she had chronic back pain her entire life that no one had ever been able to explain. And she had always been afraid of horses with no reason she could point to in this lifetime.
That past life was her puzzle piece. And it connected directly to what she is here to fulfill now and heal.
That is what the records can do. They connect dots that this lifetime alone cannot connect.
Why This Work Is So Powerful
We spend so much time trying to understand ourselves through the lens of this one lifetime. This one childhood, this one set of experiences, this one body.
But what if the thing you have been trying to heal goes further back than that? What if the fear that feels irrational, the wound that feels too deep, the pattern that will not budge no matter what you do - what if it has a context you have not been able to see yet?
The Akashic records give you that context.
And in my experience, when someone understands where something came from - really understands it at a soul level - something shifts. Not because the pain disappears. But because it finally makes sense. And when something makes sense, you can work with it differently.
What It Actually Looks Like When I Go In
Some practitioners enter the Akashic records through prayer. I go in through meditation and intention.
I imagine a bubble that lifts me up and takes me there - raising my vibration enough to meet the spirit realm. And when I arrive, it is a beautiful place. The best way I can describe it is something out of Greek mythology. A courtyard filled with light. Balls of energy moving all around - those are souls, busy and alive in this realm.
Before we even go inside I pause. I notice what you are wearing. It sounds like a small detail but it is never random. What you have on in that moment can have significance to your journey and what is about to come through.
When we walk into the building together we need to find the keeper of the keys. She is a busy energy - she zips around. We ask her for your specific key and when she hands it over I always love to look at it. The key is never the same twice. The shape of it, the size of it, the details on it - all of it tells me something.
Then I allow my energy to be pulled. Left, right, up the stairs, down the main hall. I tune into how many floors up we go. And when we arrive at your door I stop and take it in before I open it. I have had clients whose doorknob sits right in the middle of the door. I have had doors that open downward like a drawbridge. Every single one is unique and every detail means something.
The room inside is just as telling. The way it looks, how it feels, what is in it - all of it reflects the person and the lives they have lived. And somewhere in that room are books. Each one is a lifetime.
When I open a book I am transported. It is like a scene from a movie that suddenly appears. A new time, a new place, a new life. I might move through one lifetime in a reading or two. But every single time the information that comes through is exactly what that person needed at this moment in their journey. A piece of the puzzle that unlocks something for them.
